One crore jobs, housing for all and value-based education are among the key promises made in the Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto for Maharashtra Assembly Election 2019.
The BJP, which is seeking re-election in Maharashtra assembly in alliance with Shiv Sena, has promised that it will build around 30,000 kilometres road in the rural areas over the next five years if re-elected.
The incumbent party also promised to create 1 crore new jobs and ensure housing for all within the next five years.
Water-scarcity, which is a major issue in Maharashtra, also found a prominent place in the party manifesto. The BJP has promised to solve the problem effectively if re-elected for the next five years.
The party manifesto also talks about providing value-based education to students across the state.The manifesto also says the BJP will push for Bharat Ratna for VD Savarkar, Jyoti Rao Phule and Savitribai Phule.
Maharashtra is set to vote for a new assembly on October 21. The counting of votes will take place on October 24.
The state will witness a direct contest between the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance and the Congress-NCP alliance.
